@ Your Library
I am so excited to tell you about two new digital services the library is now offering to the community.
The first is the Wall Street Journal. After several years of frustrations with the print edition, we have moved to the digital edition. To access the digital up-to-date edition, visit our webpage, internationalfallslibrary.us/online-library, scroll to the bottom of the page (the digital options are listed in alphabetical order, and the Wall Street Journal is last). Click on the button ‘WSJ’ below the text about accessing the Wall Street Journal electronically. The first time you visit you will need to create an account with the Wall Street Journal and will be provided with three days of free access to all Journal content. After the three days, you visit our website again, click on the button again and get another three days of free access. Repeat as often as you’d like. You can also download the Wall Street Journal app for tablets or phones, log-in and get three days of free access on your phone or tablet. Again, every three days you will have to return to our website and click on the ‘WSJ’ button to get another three days of free access.
The second item we are offering now is Comics Plus. To access this collection of digital comics visit our webpage, internationalfallslibrary.us/online-library, scroll down to the fifth item and click on the Comics Plus button. Again, listed alphabetically and Comics Plus will be between Chilton Online and Consumer Reports, it will also be on the junior library page. The page you are directed to should say “International Falls Public Library” access and asks you to then put in your 14 digit library barcode and your 4 digit PIN. Once you do that you can read comics online. You can also download the Comics Plus app called “Library Pass” from your app store. Enter “International Falls Public Library in the search bar, then your 14 digit library barcode number and your 4 digit PIN. You can then search and borrow comics to read. This collection has material for a wide range of ages, so please monitor your child’s usage for content appropriate for them. You know your child and what is best for them.
We still provide digital access to BrainFuse Online tutoring and BrainFuse JobNow for resume and job preparation coaching, LinkedIn Learning for lots of amazing job skills courses, Creative Bug for wonderful classes about arts and crafts, Chilton’s Online for automotive repair, Consumer Reports for the latest reviews on multiple products from mattresses to computers to blenders, Mango the online language learning program, as well as Libby the Overdrive app for digital e-books and audiobooks and Hoopla for e-books, audiobooks, comics, music, movies and TV shows.
Stop by the library if you need additional information or help accessing any of these digital resources. We are excited to be able to offer so many resources available 24/7. But we love having you visit the library as well to read physical books!
