This may be true, depending on how much it affects a person, but the jury is not out on the benefits of art experiences for young children. Art supports and builds early learning.

If you find art messy and hard to build into your day, you’re not alone. But if you make it a regular part of your week, you may find that the benefits outweigh the trouble. This week is out next to last storytime for the summer. (Already!?) We have included some special supplies to go with the paint and glue and scissors that went home with the first packet. Let your child create their own masterpiece and hang it on the fridge for a while. If it doesn’t wash away some dust, it will at least bring a smile to your face.
